De Brevitate Vitae

I've started reading a book!
~~~Halelluyaa~~~
"On the Shortness of Life" by Seneca
in which he says that
any length of time is sufficient
if lived wisely.
Seneca makes interesting points...
"Everyone hustles his life along,
and is troubled by a longing
for the future
and weariness of the present.
But the man who spends all his time
on his own seeds,
who organizes every day as though it were his last,
neither longs for not fears the next day.
For what new plearsures can any hour now bring him?
He has tried everything, and enjoyed everything to repletion.
So you must not think a man as lived long
because he has white hair and wrinkles;
he has not loved long, just existed long.
The greatest obstacle to living is expectancy,
which hangs upon tomorrow
and loses today."
... hmmm ...
it gets me thinking how wisely I'm living my life
